When I think of Fried Chicken, I think of late night eating, that stop on the way home from having 1 or 2 too many drinks.
You know what I mean, you’ve been there. It’s that meal that you wish you didn’t eat as soon as you finish it. It’s battery farmed, way too salty, been sitting in the hot window probably a bit too long and it turns your stomach the next morning…
But get ready to think of something else….Chick n Sours.
Carl Clarke isn’t one of those chef’s to do things halfway. I’ve mentioned him on here before, but that’s because I’m a big fan of what he does and what he’s about.
Great food, Great drinks and a Great atmosphere.
So next time someone mentions Fried Chicken. Think herb fed, free range, Yorkshire fried chicken. Healthy tasty sides made with produce from an organic community farm in Cornwall. Wick’d cocktails, local beers and soft serve ice cream.
I’ve had the pleasure of shooting and sampling some of the food and drinks that may or may not end up on their menu (see below).
Chick n Sours opens 24th of April and it will be one of those restaurants that people will be queuing up to eat at.
Better get there early!
